Deepa has a background in architecture and planning and holds valuable experience of working with a major government organisation in New Delhi for ten years. She primarily worked on projects covering commercial centres, group housing schemes, redevelopment and urban renewal strategies. Through her professional engagements, she has observed the existing regulatory practices which encouraged her to explore further and contribute to development of action-oriented policies and viable practices in the sector.
Her areas of interest include policy research and implementation mechanisms. At IHF, she is involved in strengthening the operations of UnATHI Fellowship by managing and supporting the fellows to adopt solution-oriented measures in their field engagement activities.
