Deep Prakash Gupta

Deep realises the significance of architecture and planning in creating secure and resilient cities. With this motivation he has been nurturing his skill-set in design, communication and innovation.

He has previously interned at Alternate Angle Architects, Mumbai where he was responsible for: designing certain residential and commercial workspaces; documentation of some existing buildings; and site drawings for the redevelopment of a few local railway stations in Mumbai. Through this, he gained experience in design and revitalisation of urban residential and commercial areas. He has also been able to build skills in gathering and interpreting data relevant to city planning.

At IHF, Deep is contributing to the Applied Research vertical by developing relevant knowledge items and content on the topic of ‘non-ownership housing’.  He is currently pursuing Master's in City Planning (MCP) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. He has completed B.Arch from Dehradun Institute of Technology (DIT) (2016-21).  His other interests include photography and creating digital art illustrations.
