Improving Housing, Substance Use and Behavioral Health Approaches for People Experiencing Homelessness

Online

Funders Together to End Homelessness is a philanthropic membership organisation devoted to ending homelessness in the United States of America (USA). It is organising a webinar that aims to discuss several effective solutions for providing care for individuals experiencing homelessness as part of a holistic and equitable health care approach. The shift to addressing substance use primarily as a health care issue has important implications for other intersectional issues, including efforts occurring across USA to increase comprehensive and equitable care models for the people experiencing homelessness.

The panel will be moderated by Ms. Alexa Eggleston (Founder, Audacia Consulting). The expert panel comprises: Mr. Jason Satterfield (Executive Director, The Arlene and Michael Rosen Foundation); Dr. Mimi Doohan (Founder, Safe Haven Clinic Institute); Mr. Noah Fay (Director of Housing Programmes, Downtown Emergency Service Center [DESC]); Ms. Rosy Vasquez (CEO, Community Through Hope).
