Mahindra Home Finance Pvt. Ltd. is organising an online seminar on ‘Financial Inclusion for PMAY-U’. The seminar is supported by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board (TNSCB). This seminar aims to discuss and disseminate knowledge about the role of Mahindra Rural Housing Finance Ltd (MRHF) in facilitating access to formal housing finance subsidy recipients of PMAY-U. The discussion will also highlight their strategies to address the beneficiary gap funding for the completion of PMAY-U houses of economically weaker section (EWS) households. 

The seminar is being organised as a part of the Awas Par Samvaad initiative introduced by PMAY-U Mission under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). Awas Par Samvaad aims to encourage educational institutions, primary lending institutions (PLIs) and housing finance companies (HFCs) to conduct well-organised sessions in order to facilitate dialogue and awareness about different aspects pertaining to housing in India. 

The expert panel comprises: Mr. Arumugam K (Financial Advisor, TNSCB); Mr. Ravishankar R (Zonal Manager, MRHF); Mr. Amirtharaj S (Area Business Head, MRHF); Mr. Manikandan KP (Institution Builder, Indian Housing Federation [IHF]); and Mr. Shankar Naganathan (Independant Consultant and Chief Enabler - Affordable Housing).
