Simran Pal Kaur

Simran has stepped into her professional career and considers Indian Housing Federation as a significant learning ground to deeply and meaningfully engage herself in the low-income housing  space. She has previously interned with the Centre for Policy Research and has worked on an assessment of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) scheme as part of that internship. At IHF she is creating and curating knowledge products relevant to low-income housing, while building research expertise and learning about several diverse aspects of housing and urbanisation.  

Simran enjoys the art of stage and street theatre plays and has also actively participated in some. She has completed her M.A Urban Policy and Governance (2018-2020) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and B.A. (Hons) Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.
