Open Ideas National Competition 2021 - Season-II: Improving Livability of Small Houses

Registrations open till: June 15, 2020

INHAF (Habitat Forum) in partnership with Youth for Unity and Voluntary Action (YUVA); INI Design Studio and Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) is organising a competition that invites innovative design solutions in developing proposals on improving the livability of small low-cost houses or apartments being constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban (PMAY-U) and other affordable housing schemes and projects.

The competition seeks to bring together practicing architects, interior designers, planners, engineers, and students of these faculties, relevant non-governmental organisations (NGOs), government agencies, and other professionals working on slum upgrading and rehabilitation. The aim of the competition is to develop fresh ideas and encourage new possibilities towards upgrading inadequate houses and to create more awareness among professionals interested in urban planning and affordable housing.
