6th International LafargeHolcim Awards for Sustainable Construction - Awards

The 6th LafargeHolcim Awards for Sustainable Construction is open for entries from June 4, 2019 until February 25, 2020 at 2 pm UTC/7:30 pm IST. The competition is being conducted across five regions of the world with independent juries for each region, comprising nine experts each in sustainable design and construction. The jury for Asia Pacific region is being headed by Nirmal Kishnani, Professor of Architecture, School of Design & Environment, at the National University of Singapore.

The awards are being conducted in two categories. 

  1. The LafargeHolcim Awards Main category is for exemplary sustainable construction projects at an advanced stage of design from architecture, engineering, urban planning, materials and construction technology, and related fields. There is no age restriction for project authors.

  2. The LafargeHolcim Awards Next Generation category is for visionary design concepts and bold ideas. Authors can be no older than 30 years of age (date of birth must be June 5, 1988 or later).

Project execution should not have started before January 1, 2019 for both categories.
