The Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Assam is organising a multi-stakeholder consultation workshop in Guwahati, Assam. The workshop is aimed at gaining valuable inputs from professionals for efficient and quality construction of houses. Assam is targeting to construct 15 lakh new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) in the next 18 months which requires an effective and a well-strategised approach.

The workshop invites academia and industry experts, consultants, manufactures of conventional building materials, manufacturers of prefabricated/modular materials/similar construction to participate and share their respective insights and expertise.
