Sayali Marawar

Sayali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University and a PG Diploma in Liberal Studies from the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University, Haryana. Put together, she has over 3 years of work experience in the IT industry and the development sector. ​Through her formative years, Sayali's fervour to work towards a positive change multiplied and it motivated her to pursue the Young India Fellowship. The course along with the opportunity to work at IHF has helped Sayali get successfully initiated into the impact sector where she pushes herself to think systemic and focuses on institutionalization of solutions to the same effect. At IHF, Sayali leads the data and market aggregation efforts towards integrating housing ecosystems in the cities, looks after operationalising multiple initiatives and handles partner engagement.
Meghna Mohandas
Meghna graduated from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal in 2015 with a degree in architecture (B.Arch). Her final year thesis titled “Redevelopment of BDD Chawls, Mumbai” explored how social and spatial characteristics of chawls could be retained in new housing designs and was presented at the World Town Planning Day Conference, 2015. She was the recipient of the runners-up prize in the prestigious Berkeley Essay writing competition, 2015 (organized by University of Berkeley, California) for her essay titled “Vermillion of Hope”. She has also attended a one month certification course in Urban Planning at Aalto University, Finland. She has previously worked in the social housing sector for two years with Selco Foundation, Bangalore. Her articles as a contributing author for Vowels India magazine explores the side of architecture that involves the population living below poverty. She is also a classical dancer, and holds a Junior Diploma in Bharathnatyam.
Ranganath Lakkisetty
Finance and Administration
Ranganath has completed Integrated Professional Competence course under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He Completed an Information Technology Training and General Management and communication skills course under the ICAI for Two months. He has four years of experience in the Accounts & Finance sector. He completed three years of articleship with Rammesh Subramanian & Associates Chartered Accountants, Bangalore where he handled Income Tax returns, TDS returns, Stock Audits, Vat Audit, Accounts finalization etc. for various Clients.
Sam Solomon Dasaru
Sam shares with IHF a deep concern about the planet and lives of her citizens. He seeks to serve this cause by helping better shape public systems and settlements at a system level, with hope to be of real service to the underserved. Sam has been an Associate for Good Governance to the Chief Minister of Haryana, before which he spent time working with women in Rural Uttar Pradesh setting up a handicrafts venture. Sam is also keen on working towards environmental protection and the elimination of child undernutrition in India. Sam also enjoys doing wildlife photography, running occasionally and jamming on the guitar when possible. Sam holds a Masters Degree in Biological Sciences and a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from BITS,Pilani. He has also been a Young India Fellow at Ashoka University
T Murali
Support - Operations
Murali was born, brought up and educated in Madurai district of Tamil Nadu. He did his graduation in chemistry and started his career in the manufacturing sector at a managerial position. He then completed a course in the field of computers and switched over to sales and services of Home loans with ICICI Home Finance at Madurai. His interest to learn the tricks of the trade made him well acquainted with legal and technical aspects of Home Loans. From there he moved to the MNC sector by taking up a job with ABN Amro Bank, in their mortgage department. Later when Royal Bank Of Scotland [RBS] took over ABN Amro, he was also absorbed by RBS and served it till RBS Bank made its exit from India in March 2017. He brings with him a total of 36 years experience out of which 17 years were in Housing Finance/Banks. Currently he represents IHF in Tamil Nadu and has been liaising with all stake holders in the Affordable Housing sector in the state.
Bibhu Prasad Tripathy
Support - Operations
Bibhu has more than 8 years of working experience in the development sector. He joined IHF at Bhubaneswar and is involved in the Odisha Land Rights to Slum Dwellers project of Govt. of Odisha. Before joining IHF, he worked as a Programme Coordinator with Centre for Environment Education (CEE) and was in charge of CEE Eastern Regional Office at Bhubaneswar. Originally an IT Graduate (B. Tech) and Management (MBA) educated, he shifted his career to the development sector in 2009 and has since worked with various programs/projects focusing on Urban Poor, Livelihood, Climate Change, CSR, Environment Education etc. Mr. Tripathy was the Eastern Regional Coordinator for the GEF/UNDP Small Grants Programme for 5 years. He has immense experience on Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Documentation, Liaison, Training as well as coordinating national level campaigns/events. He has also co-authored the Compendium of Easy (not so easy) Solutions to Address Climate Change published on behalf of UNDP.
